I ovulated on the 23rd of OCT.My husband and I are trying to get pregnant.I took a first response pregnancy test on NOV 6th becaue the test says you can test four days before you period.Well I took the test twice and each time showed that the test was positive.I have soar breast and cramps.Should I wait to go the doctors and see if I miss my period or make an appt right now?

You should see a doctor as soon as your suspect that you are pregnant. They can do a pregnacy test that is more advanced than the one that you can get a drug store.

by 8 weeks at the latest, i would go as soon as i new or even thought i was. u need to get stated on your pre-natal vitamins right away. they help the baby get what he or she needs. and also u have to start drinking lots of extra milk and water, and if u can i know its hard, but u need to try and eat healthier if u didnt before. being pregnant lasts for only 10 months now they say, so try and do your best and give your baby everything it needs. good luck and congrats. if u r pregnant.

jeez your are patient
me the day my test show positive I PUT it in my purse
and drove to the doc with my husband
the worst was because the lab is run by a friend we have him open it on that Saturday to do a blood test (7 am) than he faxed it to the doc office when we arrive their she has a big grin on her face that was last week
So your baby will be born in July just like mine

I'd make an appointment now. Those tests are quite accurate. The doc may want to confirm by blood test as well.

ring your doctors and find out what there policy is .. I rang mine straight after I found out and they said they first appointment would be when I was 8 weeks... some like to see you straight away .

your lucky my last period was also on the 23rd but I have to wait til the 25th to test.. fingers crossed though I am feeling very queasy....

Call the doctor's office and make the appointment now. It is better to start your prenatal visits as soon as possible. Good luck.

Go ahead and call the doctor. I found out at 5 weeks and they had me come in the next week. Very helpful for my questions.

i know my obgyn wont see you until after you've missed 2 periods to start the montly appts. If you call them and tell them your preg they'll have you come in and do one of their tests and then give you prenatal vits and schedule your first appt
