I used to be like this all the time. When i took the time to look around i realized that i am just as good at what i do as anyone else, some times better.

All you have to do is tell yourself that you have nothing to be nervous about.

Congrats on the job and good luck!

Set a personal goal to learn something new - a new skill, new restaurant, new technique for old task, etc...

I loved temping, so many yrs ago. Be sure and be pretty self-sufficient, don't be "needy" - where's the envelopes, who do I call, how to process a pkg, etc... Companies request previous temps who've shown a sense of independeance and adaptability.

Take a breath - and remember it's for just one week...

I've got a temp starting with me next week for a week. I am so looking forward to it as I desperately need the help. The people you are going to are probably the same. They'll be really looking forward to you coming as you will help to ease their workload. They'll be so happy to have you there, you have nothing to be nervous about.

Good luck!

Most people will welcome you with open arms as you will be helping ease their workload. Just smile and say hello when you arrive and the rest should be a doddle. And remember, they will not expect you to know everything, so just ask if you don't!

Just try to make a good first impression and remember that it'll be over before you know it. Have fun!
