If I were you, my first step would be to call victim services department of your local law enforcement. They can better guide you through the maze of government. By statute, this information has to be in the public domain, which means it is easily accessible, but they are not required to notify you.
Usually, there is a parole officer following someone out of prison for this type of crime. Is there any way of locating that person.
In the meantime, document all activities and people you feel might constitute infraction. Also, there is no law against you telling all your neighbors, as well as schools/daycares nearby.
If all else fails, go to the press, muckrakers that they are.

No, social services are not obligated to inform the public that a sex offender has moved into the neighborhood, however, there are Internet databases where you can search your neighborhood to see how many registered sex offenders live in the area.
There is nothing you can do to force this man to move from your neighborhood. As messed up as it may be, he has "paid" his debt to society for his crimes and is now free to live anywhere he pleases, as long as he is not in violation of his parole. If you feel that he has violated a condition of his parole by having young children in his house to play cards, then contact your local law enforcement agency immediately.

I don't think you can legally do anything to get him out but if you have your suspicions of what is going on there you need to contact your local police and inform them. It is my understanding that people who have served time in prison are not supposed to be involved with those he/she spent time in prison with but I could be wrong about this. Also if a pedophile is bringing children into his home for whatever reason you need to report it so that it can be investigated. I do know where I live they are not allowed to live within so many feet of a school. But even though I would be scared sh*tless for my kids safety, if the guy served his time you need to be cautious but give the guy a chance to prove he is rehabilited. Keep your kids away from him. If he is calling kids into his house keep those kids from going in there. Good luck.

you can't ask someone to leave the neighborhood just because that.although some people have been known to collect money and give it to them if they leave.and yes sex offenders are supposed to be posted on the internet and you should get a call about them . and as far as the children coming over that sounds like a parent that should watch their children better if he is a possible HIGH reoffender.but as far as the man visiting he is allowed to have friends.

Well if he has had minors in his home, I would bet that he is in violation of his parole/probation. I would report any activity or any sightings of minors in his home to the police. As far as 'removing' him, I doubt there is really anything you can do (legally anyway).
