I would start an e-zine that would benefit everyone on my list. Tips, new products, etc.

That's an interesting concept. One way to look at it is that if you do business on the internet, you're automatically part of an e-business community. The community exists the minute you deal with anyone. So for me, my e-business community is my Rolodex and my browser's bookmark list, with its folders of links to suppliers, customers and other merchants. Search engines are part of my e-business community because that's how people find me.

Are you asking for a way to bring your e-business community together at your own site? You could create a website with lots of interactivity, where people could punch in a password and go to areas you want them to see, to learn news about your company, check their orders and even be entertained. Maybe a discussion group where customers can talk to each other. Check out this place for a site builder: http://phpnuke.org/ I haven't used it yet but I am looking forward to trying it.
