in '79 singer cory day's solo album had 2 hits,'green light & 'pow wow'. in '84, bandleader stony browder released a savannah band album & seems to have disappeared since. band members august darnell & andy hernandez formed 'kid creole & the coconuts' in the 80's. they had a successful career. their last album,'too cool to conga' was released in 2001.
