i have a 220 line to a stove i want to move a refrig to that location. can i use the same line

NO a 6-3 line will not fit in a single pole 20 breaker which is needed for frig what you can do if only option is put in a small sub panel on that circuit then run single line off frig will cover recessed sub panel or if you have easy enough
access run new 12/2 line for fridge (basement or crawl ) hopefully not on a slab

Yes you can. There are three wires involved. One white, one black and one blue or red possibly. Connect the white and black wire to the receptacle and cap off the third wire. Be sure to hook up the green or bare copper ground wire to the appropriate point on the receptacle. You will, of course, have to install the proper receptacle for the refrigerator.

You will have a wire that is too large, and in order to use, you need to connect it down to a # 12 and fuse it down to 20 amps. This can be done by getting a fused disconnect as they sometimes use on equipment, when servicing.

No. Outlets and plugs are made specifically for 220 lines, so they cannot be interchanged with 110v lines. If it were possible to plug the refrigerator in, you would destroy the motor.
