If you are living a hand-to-mouth existence, and you don't know where your next meal is coming from, then I can imagine looking at expensive consumer goods in catalogs and in TV commercials could be stressful.
Like it or not, there are millions of people who have enough financial security to be able to easily afford such products. Microsoft, Sony, and other "tech" companies only exist because there is a market for what they produce.
Instead of feeding your misplaced sense of injustice, try bettering your own situation. Getting a college degree increases a person's earning potential, but you could take a second job, or start your own business. Mark Cuban, owner of the Dallas Mavericks, started his career selling garbage bags door to door as a kid.
Use your imagination, and work your guts out. There are no guarantees, but its your own responsibility to try.

There will always be poor people. That is just a fact of life on earth.
Even if those that HAVE gave everything to those that HAVE NOT, there would still be poor people.
You can not expect people to stop inventing things, to stop growing technologies, to stop living until there are no more poor people. To do so would doom the world.
Everyone should do what they can to help those in need, but after you have done what you can then you have to take a step forward - life goes on.

The companies who are manufacturer of these products will definetly advertise or endorse their product through ads and they are very much aware of there targets. And offcourse these products are of no use for those person who cannot even earn their meals. but their are many people in this world who can buy & afford these products so these ads are for them. And finally manufacturer of any products are free to endorse their products. Its we, who have to decide whether we are capable of buying these products or not. You have a point in your question but it leads to only one side of the picture not the other one....................

They are luxuries something that nearly everyone wants. It's all about consumerism and how they brainwash everyone into thinking that getting things is the root to happiness. Then while we are kept quiet they do what they want. They lull us into a false sense of security.
