I think we need to pull our votes from the rep and dem so as to tell them we are sick of the BS! well, i am, thats for sure) We should all vote! 100% of the voters should. But, we send a democrat to office we get wefare programs and out of control spending, we send a rep to office, businesses get all sort of tax benefiets. Look at he price of gas. And, from both we get lies, lies and more lies. Ads that lie about the the other party. This must stop!

I'm not afraid of voting for the right candidate. The problem is all the media on rep. & dem. and hardly on any other party that is out there. I usually don't know what the other parties' candidates stand for becaue that information is not easy to find.

You are simplifying everything. Its true that America is a bi party nation. One big reason is money. They get financed by the big budgets that hire the best marketers and image makers the money can buy. Unless we start financing the other parties there is very little that will change. On the other hand the other parties do not communicate their ideas in an acceptable form for the masses. So its a vicious cycle. We had Ross Perou (i thing was his last name) who had the cash. but still lacked the original vision. So its much more complex than just voting for others because they are not Dems or Reps.

I voted for an Indy in the US Senate race, since I knew that Nelson was going to whip Harrris big time. For Governor, there was a Reformer but I voted Dem because I thought it would be a tight race. For US House, I voted Dem and the candidate won. However, I hope and pray to see more third party candidates show up. I vote for who represents me the most. But I would vote for a Libertarian or any third party candidate that has a good chance of winning. I say we have to be careful in 08 because something good will happen: the duopoly will break and third parties will get in!
