Basically cops/robbers or detective kind of movies, such as Se7en and Blood Work (serial killer type) or just regular robbery type movies like Heat (I mention those movies since I have already seen them)

"The Way of the Gun" is a good one; Benicio Del Toro, Ryan Phillipe and lots of shooting!
"Traffic" is brilliant
"The Score" (Edward Norton is amazing in this), "Ronin", "Jackie Brown" and "Cop Land" are all exciting films, especially if you like De Niro.
I particularly recommend "Cop Land".
The old Richard Gere film "Primal Fear" has a real twist at the end.
The serial killer movies: "Along Came a Spider" and "Kiss The Girls" are both really good; then again most of Morgan Freeman's movies are.
Funny, I read the book "Blood Work" and about two weeks ago I sat down (half way through) to watch a Clint Eastwood film and what do you know?
You know the writer (Michael Connelly) killed off that character (Eastwood portrayed) in a later book.
