I need to cover door step with metal cover either brass steel or anything else hard wearing open to suggestions thankyou

Check Home Depot , Lowes or any other Home Improvement store. Some lumber yards might have them, but I would call ahead first just in case.

It's called a thresh hold and you need to check with your local hardware store or you can order from Lowe's.com
