Realistically speaking, NO India dont stand a chance as they have always struggled on hard and bouncy SA pitches, but if Sachin, Rahul and Sehwag are on form they could do well as well as playing the spinners correctly as SA always sruggle against spin.

Since cricket is a game of uncertainties, nothing can be predicted for sure about the outcome of a tournament in advance. However, taking into consideration the present form of both the teams and also considering the fact that South Africa have home advantage, it will be a herculian task for India to win the ODI series against South Africa though they may win some matches..

South Africa is second best team at this time.
India does not have team spirit.
South A at home, India at away.
SA won against aus last series at home.
India lost Windies at away.
Aus were best team and W Indies were no 8 team.
India can not win this series. But they may win 1/2 matches.

South Arica is good on their own pitches ( well the bowlers pratice on them and they are made for them) The SA supporters can be quite harsh and the climate suits the SA team! Lets just say SA should win and I hope they win but if they chop and change their side too much they might not!!!All I can say is may the best team win on the day!!!! - but if SA doesnt win I gonna need a new TV as I will chuck a brick through it!!!!

The South Africans have the potential to win BUT they are sometimes very inconsistent. If the Indians can make use of that somehow they can nail them in their own backyard
