can anyone recomend ipod or mp3 player, must b easy to use, want to download music from pc onto it, and put photos on,would pay up to £100,have no idea which is the sort to go for, dont even know the difference between ipod amd mp3..please help..

what you need to take into account is how much you want to store on it, battery life and ease of use.
if you are going to change the music and pictures on a regular basis then 1-2 gig will be plenty, but if you want to keep it stored for ever then a 5 gig upwards will do.
battery life is important as some players have massive storage but only have about 10-12 hours battery life.
Also if you can find one where you can replace the battery even better. Ipods you can not replace the battery without taking it apart and invalidating your warrenty and the life of it is about a year. i would not buy another Ipod for this reason

i would try to recommend iPod Nano 2GB it about $149 hold 500 songs of any popular format and 25 thousand pictures. It Has 24 hours of Battery Life and has great quality music. Any other mp3 player is still okay but iPod has the most friendly User interface and has the most popular click wheel and did i mention it can search music if you have many songs... yea.... thanks for helping you hahaha :D go to the link below to see what kind of iPod fits you

ipod seems to be the most universally used. And the newer models are much more reliable than they used to be. Although there are lots of other good cheaper alternatives. Samsung ones aint too bad, and I believe Sony make a good player also. Think for pictures and music (and looks of course) your best stickin with ipod.

hello verity,i have an ipoi nano and it is simple to use.if you buy a 1GB that holds 250 tracks and they are less than a £100 you can
download itunes software for free from apple website.That has a built in music store ,called itunes simply follow th instructions
and you are sorted.however you can get loads of mp3 players
nowadays its just a matter of person ell choice.hope this helps cheers.

ipod - cause apple are smashing their competitors - so for longvegity go for an ipod - it does movies, photo's everything. But it eill cost you more than £100, but it is worth it - go for 30GB photo ipod
Apple are the masters at mp3's and they are the leaders in the technology. Plus it is very easy to use.

I have the Creative one. It works fine although I have to say its very irritating that all the related products such as holders, speakers, etc on the market are for ipods so I wish I had bought one of those as extras for Creative can only be bought of the net.

mp3 players can be connected to pc thru usb but ipods can't
you can save picture or videos on ipods but you can't connect it to
your pc
about the price?? both of them are more than the price you ment it
[some of the mp3s can store mp3,wma and wav files]

u can try the new ipod 2g or 4g it holds 1000-2000 songs that u can get from your cds and the internet and it can do slideshows with your pic and music videos too.the average price in the US is about 249.00 i am not sure how much it costs where u r.
