NO a relationship can not work without honesty, it's one of the most important things u both need in a relationship. If u aloud it and the relationship turns bad, then when ur in a new relationship it will be really hard for u to trust another person and it will cause new and more problems. If this is happening to u get out now and save urself the heartache. I'll be rooting for ya, u can do it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well if depends on the couple itself, if the lie has gotten them this far then it might work, but personally I don't think that a good relationship would last off a lie, simply because once you tell one lie then you have to tell another one to cover that one and after so many lies you will forget the one you told previously...Lying doesn't do anyone any good..It tends to make a person after a period of time not trust anything you say that comes out of your mouth...And that it true too! There is no honesty period ..Because sooner or later you will get caught. And when a person can lie about anything it makes you then wonder what else has this person lied about...No really my answer is no, there really is no relationship unless you are blind... will last off a lie.

Basically, I felt that in a relationship, if there is no TRUST between both parties, then they will lie to keep their relationship going. You may lie to your partners just to upkeep your look or your character which you have portray in front of him or her. But if you trust the person, you will dare to tell him or her the truth about what you are or who you are. So it boils down to the word "trust". But this must be reciprocated. If both parties are not trusting towards each others, you will see more lies being said to cover or keep up with their earlier lies. It depends on whether is it white lies or a lie meant to deceive. If it is a white lie, I guess, the person meant a lot to the person to tell the lie. But if it is meant to deceive for a bad motive, then I don't think you should maintain this relationship. A relationship will only LAST if there is trust between both parties and that includes not lying.

Most people lie out of their own fear. Some people lie all the time and have to keep lying to make up for each lie. Honesty is a hard to find in this day and age. I'm sorry if you have been hurt but, I wouldn't waste my time with someone that's going to lie. There are real happy, honest people out there. You have to be careful when you choose your friends and lovers. Choose them wisely. Good luck..........and happy hunting for new, loving and honest people in your life.

If you are with someone who lies to you over little things, they are definitely lying over the big things. That is not a relationship.

The problem with lying is that when your telling the truth people will always think your lying,so always tell the truth and shame the "devil"

Absolutely not. If a friend or lover can't be honest with you, than why should you keep them in your life when you can never trust them?

Dump your partner, if he/she's lying.
Relatioships CANNOT work with no trust. It'll only result in you being let down over and over and over.
