I have the same problem with my partner and totally sympathise. It has caused numerous arguments between us.

He snores on his side, back, belly, sitting up - The breathe right strips are rubbish and so are the sprays - we found this out to our expense !

My partner is overweight and this is said to be a factor of snoring cause of the excess fat around his neck area - he has promised to lose weight but it'll take time but in the meantime poor old me gets very little sleep and end up going to the spare room or living room to get away from the noise - it really annoys him when he wakes up and i'm not there - but i told him that i NEED my sleep, even just a few hours so i can stay awake in work.

Its really awful but the 2 of you are gonna have to try and work at it and if you find a cure PLEASE PLEASE let me know !

I'm the snorer at home and feel so badly when my fiance can't sleep because of me. Check how your partner breathes when he/she is snoring because they may have Sleep Apnea which is very treatable! There are some OTC aids which may help with nose snoring and even a spray that coats the throat to help with that kind of snoring. You could try ear plugs too. Try nudging your partner to roll onto their side as sleeping on the back can cause it. I don't feel there's anything wrong with sleeping separately if you can't sleep together due to snoring. It's better than resenting your partner all night! Just try some different avenues of treatment too. If your partner doesn't want to try to help you get a good nights sleep maybe they don't care as much as he should about you!! Just a thought.

All out of ideas on this one.... my partner says i snore but i think it is a figment of her imagination as I have NEVER heard myself snore and i have never been kept awake all night. Surely if i snored i would keep myself awake all night, right! Snoring is something created in the minds of females just so that they can have something to moan about in the morning otherwise they would just not feel right.....

I've kinda just learnt to live with it. My bloke will stop snoring if I place my hand firmly on his chest or back but as soon as I move he starts again and the same spot never works twice. If it gets too much for me I pinch his nose and he wakes up, once he's a little awake I wake him up completely so he's wide awake and I can drift off before he snores again.

Theres actually a new device out now that straps onto your wrist as you sleep. When you start to snore, it sends a small electrical impulse into your system, which (to my knowledge) wakes the person up for moments and sends them back to sleep. After a few goes of this, the wearer will become used to the fact that if they snore, they will be electrocuted, and i eventually stops! Sounds a little mean, but it works. Here is the link:

Can be found for sale on ebay, am unable to find a normal supplier. Just search up "True Sleep" on ebay. Hope that helps :)

hello....snoring victim right here...i really annoys me as i am a light sleeper, once he starts, thats me awake all night, not just that, he's a twitcher too...his feet an his legs fly all over the place..i HATE it...i just wake him up, tell him he's snoring and twitching and to shut it or sleep on the couch....luckily, we both have apartments in the same house and live across the garden from each other, so sometimes i just ask him to go home if it gets that bad...only takes him a few seconds to walk across the garden....other than that i just pinch his nose till he turns blue...lol....

smother them with a pillow LOL I would like to sometimes. I wear ear plugs when i am in a room with someone snoring or i can not sleep at all. My sister snores like a trooper and so does my husband. I had to stay in a hotel room with my sister when my son had surgery and i could of killed her because it sounded like the room was going to cave in and i got absoututly no sleep at all. I went and bought ear plugs whenever i went anywhere with her again and give her a bad time about it. My husband usually sleeps in a different room because i can not sleep with him very good but sometimes he sleeps in my bed and i have to wear ear plugs. Good luck

I have the same problem, I generally move him or wake him.
Sometimes I sleep on the couch, just to get some sleep.
Lately I go to bed before him and get to sleep so his snoring will not wake me.
Hope this helps.
