I detest condescension, especially if I know the person is much smarter than I am and could be gentler about it, and they just don't.
On the other hand, I hope no one ever thinks I sound that way, coz I never mean to. I'm not naturally a smooth over sort; I work at it...and when I'm tired, really really really tired, I'm just blunt. Not annoyed to answer questions, not viewing it as a waste of time. Just being natural. And if it sounds too deadpan or literal, sorry.

Listen:the majority here are only trying to gain the 2 points they get to answer any question.
Do you really think that most are interested at all what you ask?Look at all the stupid answers they send.
Most of the answers are:no,nope, never, yeah, yes etc.
Horrible, and most don't bother to even really read the question, they give weird answers.
Don't let it get to you.
Only look at the real answers and skip the blg ones.
Have a great day.Rob.xxxx

No it doesn't bother me.
In those cases it tells me more about the person answering the question than it dose the question, though..
I think Y!A is, in general, a fascinating study of human nature. (It's kind of like watching how people act in their cars vs how they act outside. I think the buffer of the internet allows people to get Net Rage rather than Road Rage. Both tell you something about latent hostility.)
Bizzare, bitter answers merely reveal which folks out there are bizzare and bitter.
Don't take it personally. It's all about them.

yes and no, I get it done to myself as well even if I ask a legitiment question, and of course I do it myself to others, sorry but if they ask a completely idiotic question I see no reason not to respond back to it sarcastically, for example the other day I answered a guys question extremely sarcastically his question was should I rape my wife to help her get over her shyness in bed, I obviously can't find the guy and kick his a$$ so the next best thing for me to do is respond back as sarcastically as possible, isn't that what this site is all about anyways?

Just look past those responses...just like those people that ask outrageously stupid questions to get a reaction. It's only for attention, don't take it too personally.

Yes, sometimes it does. Especially the rude comments. To me, people should just ignore it and go to the next question!!
