Most babies have a taste preference. They especially hate iron containing formula. Since both formulas contain ironand your baby has accepted them it may not be a problem for you. Some formulas have a higher sugar content which may be another problem. DHA gives the formula a slightly fishy taste so it might oeveride the sugar, I don't know. Try and see. If it doesn't work, you might want to add just a touch of sugar to the less sweet one.

Babies digestive tracks are still developing and doing this could cause more harm then you think. They can get constipated will spit up more and you will have a much fussier baby. I am a pediatric nurse and my advise to mom is to find a formula you and you pediatrician find the best suitable. Usually the ones with iron are preferred due to the fact your baby has a harder time utilizing iron they have. They only time you should really change formula is if you have having problems with the one they are currently on, like excessive spitting up or if they are really fussy that type of formula might upset their stomach.

when my son was on formula i gave him enfamil with lipil and when i ran out. i give him parents choice with lipil. Check the ingredients. i compared them and they were the same and parents choice had a little more of some vitamins actually. He is happy and healthy 19 month old now. I used the cheaper brand when i ran out of wic. Good luck

I would not recommend it. It causes stomach problems and gas and tears there stomach up. Pick one and choose. To me Nestle Good start is more gentle on the baby than the other but it differs .. baby to baby.

perhaps you might find your baby will have a taste preference and they'll decide which.. my suggestion would be to use a particular formula at the same time each day... so they'll come to expect that at "lunch" they'll have Nestle Good Start. good luck for instance... my babies were too stuborn to change. LOL

it doesnt really matter what brand you use as long as you use the right one. make sure the dates are in date. your child may like one brand over the other but if the dates are in let them have which ever one they like.
