just got married and you know how i am going to selerbrate my day. BY WASHING DISHES...i feel like running away. can enyone cheer me up???

I'll cheer u up!! Take those dishes and leave them in the sink for the day and enjoy doing whatever is going to make u happy!!!!!!! You just got married for crying out loud, whatever happened to the honeymoon?????? Go on get out, be happy and forget about those dishes, if u want go out and buy a dish washer and then u can laugh later on when ur putting the dishes in there. Be happy honey whatever or wherever that leads u. Congratulations on ur marriage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First congrats!! may you and yours have life time of happiness and love.
I celerbrated my wedding by going to work the following day. still haven't had a honeymoon and that day was almost 13 years ago. Its life and the life we choose and while it has little things that make it seem less enjoyable such as doing dishes, but think about the love and happiness that you have that makes every other little thing worth the sacrifice.

If you just got married...and feel like running away...I think you need to talk to your wife. Not every ones wedding is what they want it to be....but you have to do the necessary things. Take a few minutes for yourself...ask yourself some serious questions. Why are you with this woman? Why did you get married? What do you expect from marriage? What do you expect from each other?????

Consider the reasons of why you said "I want to marry him/her" then balance that up against the fears you are currently feeling. You will get your answer.
Is it going to be the same after your married?
Understand that you are going to have reservations anyway. That is a normal behaviour. Maybe try to focus on the celebration. Ask someone else to do the washing up,
