I just found I was pregnant yesterday by 3 faint positive tests. I am going to the dr today to confirm it. But is it normal to have menstural like cramps?

Well it depends on how severe, but yes, all quite normal. It's where the womb is adjusting to it's new condition. I had them for about 12 weeks with all 3 of mine. My midwife said it was V common and nothing to worry about.

Never just take this for granted though, it's always best to get any pain checked out.

yes. I have irregular periods and when I missed a mth i didnt think anything of it and I kept having the, my period is gonna start cramps and I had them for 3 weeks until I finally started throwing up then I got the test. I even bled with both of my kids to and it was normal. early pregnancy symptoms and menstural symptoms are about the same.

Yes, I would say it is. I have three children and remember having cramps in the initial stages of pregnancy. If your pregnancy is confirmed by the doc, just mention the cramps to him and let him check it out for safety's sake.
