There are couple of free P2P Softwares available.

Eg:
Lime wire - http://www.limewire.com/
Emule - http://www.emule-project.net

There are plenty more available in internet such as Kazaa, Imesh, Morpheus etc and most of them are included with spyware, adware, malwares.. choose the good one.
