Oi you lot! I'm a student and you guys are being very rude and narrow minded. Why do people always class students as drunken louts who want the answers spoon fed to them?!?! I for one do all my own research and write my essays myself, using my own initiative. Bring it on any of you lot willing to trade your life for mine, how do you fancy 9-5 lectures everyday and on top of that 20 hours of coursework and private study, not to mention the exam revision.

The students of today include the next generation of doctors, teachers and researchers, for all you know, one us could end up looking after you in your old age, or teaching your children, or discovering cures to many of the terrible illnesses out there.

I disagree with the view that students expect others to provide them with answers, some simply want help in finding the right direction.

Please don't stereotype us, I've had enough.

Well, I don't know. I'm sure some are looking for an easy get-out, but equally, remember doing homework by yourself and having absolutely no idea where to even begin? Some will probably abuse it but others will benefit, so for the sake of those who do benefit, I think it just comes down to the responder to ignore those they suspect of trying to get out of work.

Yes, there are loads on here looking for solutions to equations, help with essays, what about those ridiculously long questions on extremely specific moments in history?

Yep. Of course, any answer comes from Somewhere. And being able to Find an answer when you need it is an important part of education. I say, help 'em if you feel like it. Like any other question!

definitly it should be called homework cheats not homework help, i have even seen questioners blatently say they will pay for essays on given topics and they don't care thier teachers know it isn't thier own work just so they don't need to do them!
