"The human element" is a phrase used to say that an outcome is affected by human decisions instead of chance.
There are, of course, many causes and reactions for human decisions.
My favorite is the choice to be humanE - to have something happen that is based on compassion and care.
My least favorite is the alternative like being inhumane - to have something happen based on the same characteristic that gives so much joy to kids with a magnifying glass over an antbed.
How about the selfish angle - the possibility that something may happen because some people will try to embezzel or steal something.
You can list off and group all the traits of human psyche and consider how they can affect an event/outcome.

A. Most of the human body is made up of water, H2O, with cells consisting of 65-90% water by weight. Therefore, it isn't surprising that most of a human body's mass is oxygen. Carbon, the basic unit for organic molecules, comes in second. 99% of the mass of the human body is made up of just six elements: oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, calcium, and phosphorus.

Oxygen (65%)
Carbon (18%)
Hydrogen (10%)
Nitrogen (3%)
Calcium (1.5%)
Phosphorus (1.0%)
Potassium (0.35%)
Sulfur (0.25%)
Sodium (0.15%)
Magnesium (0.05%)
Copper, Zinc, Selenium, Molybdenum, Fluorine, Chlorine, Iodine, Manganese, Cobalt, Iron (0.70%)
Lithium, Strontium, Aluminum, Silicon, Lead, Vanadium, Arsenic, Bromine (trace amounts)

Are those the kind of human elements your looking for? I am wondering if maybe you mean another kind, like personality traits. (Caring, generous, stubborn, intuitive, etc.)
