I was reading the Jump The Skark comments on that show. They said that Debra was abusive to Raymond. I didn't see that. Maybe the episode about her pmsing but that was it.. If anyone was abusive it was Marie abusing Debra on that show.

What do you think?

I think Debra is always telling the truth to Ray about his family. Even though the show is a TV show, I get agitated at the way they barge into Ray & Debra's life. I mean, I can't stand the way, Maria treats Debra. I think Ray should have stood up for Debra more because they deserve peace in their household.. Maybe that's why Debra doesn't have sex with him. I'd do the same if he didn't choose me over his mom.

I think that the show is abusive. Jk but seriously Debra can be abusive to Raymond at some points, sometimes he does nothing wrong! And I know where you're coming form with the Marie thing... but that is just HILARIOUS!!!

Sometimes Debra IS abusive to Raymond. Marie is ALWAYS abusive to Debra. Raymond is the one who is always stuck betweent the two of them. That's probably why sometimes Debra is abusive to Raymond.

I believe the whole Barrone family is bad. Marie is intrusive and pushy. Raymond has only one person on his mind, Raymond Barrone. Frank is lazy and uncaring. The only truly nice ones on that show are Debora and Raymond's brother.

Debra was verbally and emotionally abusive. She was always criticizing Ray and yelling at him and calling him names.

Its just another one of the shows that make White American men look like stupid morons. Its a conspiracy show. Take the show FRIENDS for example... Chandler, Joey, and Ross were made to look as if they didn't even know how to get dressed in the morning. And, then whenever there is a minority guest on the show he is shown to look like he is more brilliant and stronger than everyone.

IT SEEMS THAT ALOT OF SIT COMS MAKE THE MAN OF THE HOUSE OUT AS DUMB, STUPID AND THE WOMEN FAR MORE SUPERIOR AND DOMINEERING. IT WAS THE SAME IN HOME IMPROVEMENT AND SEVERAL OTHER SHOWS. IT IS A REFLECTION OF HOW SOCIETY SEEING RELATIONSHIPS AND HOW WE SHOULD TREAT MEN. I DO NOT AGREE WITH THIS BEHAVIOR AND DON'T FIND IT FUNNY.
