this is a stupid question, but it just seems like a girl 14-18 would have a really really small vagina, compared to somebody in their 20's or 30's... so do you think it hurts more for a teen to push the baby out? or is it all the same? I've asked myself this many times.

Also when I see people like models or actresses who are sticks, and they give birth.. I donno, but it just looks impossible, lol

Sure it will hurt for a teenager. BUT it hurts for everyone.. it doesnt get bigger with age.. and also, u wont believe how amazing the womans body is until you actually have a baby.. it is so amazing how you body can do that and then a couple of weeks later if anyone were to look down there they couldnt even tell that you ever had a baby. its wierd. Its really got to do with the pelvis size and not the size of the vagina. Some women have small pelvic ooutlets and cannot have children where as most women can have children, stick bandit or not. Doesnt matter whether they are fat or skinny, a fat person could still have a small pelvis. I hope i have helped u a little!

Human body is amazing in that it can adapt and adjust. Age is not a factor to determine if you will have an easy or difficult birth delivery. That's why pregnant women go to an ante-natal or pre-natal courses to learn the techniques of how to give birth effectively and efficiently without causing too much damage to your thing down below plus it reduces anxiety when you know what to expect.

No I don’t think so. Your body has about nine months to prepare for the arrival of the baby and you will be amazed at how stretchy that place can be. In any case, if the baby’s head is too big, the midwife will perform an episiotomy which should make the baby ‘s exit easier.

it doesn't make any difference and actually recently I heard that the heavier the baby is the easy it is to come out as it had more weight behind it ... which is odd cause I always though oh that would have hurt when I hear the baby is 9 pounds or over .. but actually its easier.. and remember no questions are stupid only ones that are never asked.

I think it has more to do with the size of a persons pervis, a young teenager would not be as developed as what an young woman or adult would be. Think that would be the main problem. As for the vagina being smaller, i dont think thats an issue, as we were made to reproduce so it can suprise us as to what size baby can come out of there.

Honey, it hurts when ANYONE gives birth, but it's pain for a reason! The vagina is remarkably elastic. And that old saying about forgetting the pain once you hold your baby is so true!

I hope not. I am 15 and 30 weeks pregnant. I don't think it's any different though.
