It depends what you mean by pretty as beauty as they say is in the eye of the beholder. Rosie is a bit flowery (Excuse the pun)and would not suit a lot of the girls I know. As a name I'm sure Keira will date like Ethel. I know a few Lisa's who are short of a few brain cells, so I'm bias. Stephanie is OK but I think if you were naming a baby girl today, then Sarah is a good safe name as it will not age or go out of fashion and the girl will not end up saying what ever possessed you to call me Rosie when she becomes a teenager with attitude. I should know, I'm not called Rosie but my parents gave me an unusual name and I dread the 'What?' response that I get everytime someone asks my name. So think carefully.

Sarah and Lisa, quite downmarket and yes, council estates do come to mind. Keira, Rosie and Stephanie are prettier. You should probably watch Keira though, have a feeling it may be a very popular name over the next few years and I think it could become a bit over-used.

Sarah; it has an honourable history and cannot be easily turned into a short form or nickname. Also, it is something appropriate for a child or an adult, unlike Rosie and is completely feminine, unlike Stephanie. Keira is unusual, but African and many people don't realise that and many people prefer to name their kids something that has relevent meaning. Lisa is an Eastern European for of ZhaZha(giah-giah) which is a form of Susan.
