Either a font problem. This can be sorted out by changing the font to Times New Roman or Arial or something standard.
If the output happens on a prinetr and you see boxes on the page, its a printer driver problem. Try reinstalling the printer driver with the correct driver. Sometimes, if a generic text Printer is installed and you print a page with different fonts, this problem can happen.

it cud be that ur dfault font is changed 2 something odd, like wingdings 4, try changing ur default font.
