I am fitting new glass to a garage window and want to include an outlet for a tumble drier. The tumble drier hose has a diameter of 100mm and I need to know whether the hole in the glass has to be any bigger than that.

Thanks in advance.

You should use a special fitting that connects into the hose!. the one i used is a little over 100mm so i got the glazier to cut an hole 110mm and then used a foam sealing strip to seal the hose into the window fitting.

Slightly bigger.
But you should be cutting your hole based on the size of the passthrough adapter, not the size of the hose.
If you merely stick the hose out the window it will not look good and you will not be able to get a good seal around the glass. Also, outside air will come into the house when the drier is not in use.
Here is a link to a photo of that type of device.

This ranges from 105mm to 110mm and depends on the make of your vent kit.
Buy the kit first then follow the instructions, simple as that.

The outside diameter of the ventkit flange will be about 95mm, so you should drill 100mm.

Personally, i'd buy the kit first and drill to suit

Not to be rude but if you need to ask this type of question then perhaps you should get a pro to do the job!
