if im standing in new zealand what is the bearing on a compass to scotland . i know its north westish but where exactly

From New Zealand to Scotland you could go in just about any direction as long as you walk in a straight line - they're just about opposite.

Due north should take you straight over the north pole and straight to scotland

well sonny jim that would depend on where abouts in new zeland you happen to be standing, however north west is about right, but hen you could also go the long way north east see more of the world like
