I'm suprised this 'dilema' still exists in this day and age.
It shouldn't be an issue on any level, we are all human.

this isn't racially motivated, but having said that I just made it so. I don't have a problem with it per se....but I friends that have experienced it, and this is what I have gathered from 4 years college, 3 years Grad school and 7 years in the professional world. A white woman is a social trophy for a black man....its a status symbol, that he's made it in a white mans world (sad but true)....but that's all she is. By his own admission, the black man is naturally unfaithful.....and will seek out a black woman, as she will understand him better. The white woman, defends her decision to be with a black man openly, but in private....they want out. Black women give them are hard time, they flaunt that they been with her man. His black male friends will hit on her constantly and he won't go against his blood....Some say it can work, but its rare.

So long as your father is not in the KKK than your skin color shouldn't matter. Just fallow your heart and let fate decide. Is he a good man. Enjoy your life. Don't let petty politics get in your way. GOOD LUCK

If they like/love each other - it's perfectly ok. One of my best friends (white woman) married an African American and they are now a happy family with two lovely kids ;)

If they really care for each other then I think that it should be their business and no one else.
