you give them your age, full birth date, time you were born and where? cause this person was claiming to need that to give an astrology reading. but um why would they need the place? and like yeah could they find out my name if i give them that info?

An astrologist needs to know your age to make sure you are of age, the birth date, time and place so that she can give you a full reading. A reading is based on where the planets were at the time of your birth. No they can't get your name.
