Hey. I like many types of music (including rock, prog rock, hard rock, jazz, jazz fusion, and classical), but metal is by far my favorite. There's something about its obscurity that makes it really intriguing which is why heavy meatl is actaully one of my biggest hobbies. I absolutely love discovering new bands that bring something new to the table. I attend an average of about one metal show a month. Bands that I've seen live are Kreator, Sodom, Overkill, Destruction, Kataklysm, Vader, Cryptopsy, Epica, Kamelot, Venom, Grave, Vital Remains, and Dismember. I also have tickets to see Cannibal Corpse and Necrophagist and then a Blind Guardian show in December. Here are some obscure bands that are some of my favorites:

The Lord Weird Slough Feg: Folky/Celtic influenced heavy metal
Kampfar: Pagan black metal
Sear Bliss: Black metal that incorporate brass horns
Nocturnal: Thrash metal
Mekong Delta: Progressive technical thrash

cannibal corpse, deicide, obituary, psychrist (australia's best metal band) six feet under, superjoint ritual, and of course damageplan (RIP Dimes)

Its goosd to see that some metalheads make it into the modern world of cyberspace every now and then.

I'm not so much a metalhead, bit i like a little bit of everything. Esp Metal. Corpse are definately my fave, but i even like Manson and Slayer and ****, so whatever.

Ave Satanas!!
