If you observe,the difference between divisors(i.e.,2,3,4 and 10) and their respective remainders(1,2,3,9) is 1.(2-1=1, 3-2=1,4-3=1 and 10-9=1).
In such cases take LCM of 2,3,4 and 10,i.e.,60 and subtract the difference,i.e.,1. So,60-1 = 59.You can also get the subsequent numbers by multiplying 60 by a +ve integer and subtracting the common difference(i.e.,1).So next number is (60*2) - 1 and the one next to it is (60*3)-1

Guess the number is n.
If n divided by 2, the remainder is 1, means n is odd.
Divided by 3 and remainder is 2. n belongs to the collection {2,5,8,11,14,...}
Since n is odd you get only: n is in A = {5,11,17,23,29,...}
divided by 4 the remainder is 3 gives the collection B = {3,7,11,15,19,23,...}
The common elements of the collections A and B is the collection
C = {11,23,35,47,59,...}
... by 10 remainder is 9 is the collection D = {9,19,29,39,49,59,...}
The smallest common number in C and D is 59.
That is the number you want, I guess. You can check it is alright.
