Its so sad when that happens. You have to tell the person that you dont feel the same and hope that they will be able to get over it quickly and with little pain, which is so wasier said then done.

Sometimes your reaction by expression is enough to let them know their love is in vain,other times you must break a heart to save your own..I have been on both ends of it & neither is easy or easy to forget,in fact its a lesson well learned & sometimes I think my heart is the wiser ,maybe a lil' hesitant for it even though it took a hard knock from it.

Just say I love you too but not in that way. It's best to be upfront when things like that happen. If not you will be in a world of trouble.

Don't you hate when that happens! I don't like to brush off ppl with the back of my hand but sometimes it's necessary if you don't want to create false hopes. If I survived that, anyone can.

That has happened before... I look at the person straight in the eyes and say, "I really like you." or something close to that...

IGNORE,that is the best option, tell that persone once that u dont love him/her and then start ignoring, if u will say anything further that will give him/her hope, the horse will always find the grass green

I pretend he/she are just fooling and joking with me cause we both know we were born to be good friends, this way I spare them the embarassment and make my point.

I would be embarrassed, but also flattered.
I would also be afraid that Mama might have heard. She's the jealous type, but she would probably also blame me for it. I would REALLY need a doghouse!
