No, you tell them the amount in postal orders (think there's a small fee). You write on there who it's payable to and cross it like a cheque (so no-one else can cash it) then post it off yourself.

It's years since I used postal orders and I didn't realise you could get them anymore. But when I did use them, I would go to the Post Office and give them some money, they'd give me the Postal Order and I'd put it in an envelope and send it off

Take your money to the post office tell them you want a postal order they will make up the order payable to whomever you are sending it to. Pop it in an envelope and post it . Simple

No, you get the postal order, they put the amount on for you, then you send it off yourself. They won't send it for you.

No you have to buy it PO's from the post office there like a cheque really. then send them yourself in an envelope!!
