I heard a lot of computer owners, not just Dell, calling for technical issues, blaming the manufacturer, if not, the techs who are trying to help them, when the problems they are calling for is just something they have created.
When you purchase your computer, it didn't have viruses or spyware on it, why blame it on the technicians? Who was using the computer by the way, is it the owners? or the technicians?

I used to work for Gateway as a technical support representative. We got tons of calls every day from irate people saying the computer was broken or whatever and in fact it was infected because they didn't properly protect themselves. I don't know about Dell, but Gateway doesn't support removing infections on it's "under warranty" toll free support line. Even if the customer is still under warranty they have to call a pay number to get help removing an infection. Gateway knows it's not their fault and they don't help them remove it for free and it's not covered under the warranty. That really makes em mad lmao!

Most computer owners (Dell Included) don't blame the technicians or manufacturers for their "problems". They blame them for being incompetent in helping them "Solve" their problems.
Most technicians are not trained properly, or don't speak the callers language fluently, or don't really give a ****.
Obviously there are going to be "Novice" users with "Novice" problems. It's a fact of life.
Technicians should be trained to deal with each person individually and should (at the outset) ascertain the degree of knowledge of that particular individual. It would make the job easier on all parties. Not insulting to the more literate and not condescending to the less...

It is not just DELL Laptop/Owners! It is all Computer User who are using Microsoft OS ! You are right in saying that

But as the Windows OS allows these Spy-ware /Viruses to come in , the User is so frustrated and needs help and this is the time when he calls the Tech Support and they have to listen to the Angry!

Still Chill man why do u worry .. MS Needs to Worry!

I am a DELL PC owner i never called'em up for any software issues. They are mostly there for the hardware I believe, these guys out there have a job i think it is a waste of time if anybody calls'em up for any software issues regarding viruses and all of that , all wat i can say is that if they would have got a good anti-virus nothing of this could have happened to their PCs.

Think of it this way: why aren't computers reliable like cars?

Why don't they run for years without crashing?

Why is it that Dell wants to compete on price but doesnt want to make a better product?

Probably for the same reason that some people ask for directions and then don't shut up long enough for you to give them.
