The President responded properly with the barrage of questions. It is stability under pressure especially that Democrats comprised the majority in the Congress.

Yes, I agree that he alwas has displayed strong character when answering questions at a press conference, though I seldom agree with his answers concerning Iraq. If Iraq ever has peace, they need to use separation of church and state, instead of trying to fight a religeous war. They also must get off their butts and fight their own war, elect a President instead of bowing down to some dictator and let our military do what is needed and get out of the conflict.

Disagree. The whole thing was staged and well rehearsed. Especially the question that made the new speaker of the house out to be the B from hell.... It was all an orchestrated act. Letting Rummy go was just tossing the Dem's a bone hoping they will not listen to the ever growing voices that want Bush fired (impeached) it was more rehearsed than the singing duet on the Colbert report.... The National Anthem was sung very well and was much more inspiring than the dog and pony show our fearless leader put on.

Strong character, possibly. Good character, certainly not.

You can be as firm in your beliefs as you like. If those beliefs are rotten, then you yourself are rotten. Hitler had strong beliefs. The Spanish Inquisition, those were some d@mn strong beliefs. The witch trials, in Europe and America, more strong beliefs. Does that mean I want those people to lead my country? Hell, no.

No, he acted like a different sort of court jester then the one we're used to. He was petulant and childish, a spoiled child who had his privelegessuspended (the right to not EVER be held accountable for anything you do!) so the first thing he did was fire his "best weapon" Donald so that Rumsfield could take the blame for anything that ever happened in the past. If that's what you call strong character, well I can see why this country is so screwed up right now.

The "President", had better secure the services of a good moving company bdq! He's got two years to back peddle before history records him as the worst President in history.

Look forward to years of Democratic rule. The economy growing exponentially, security improving and Washington getting a swift kick up the kyber!

Yes, Bush appeared strong, because the many hands up his a*se told him to be.

The Iceman.

its almost dumbounding the amount of idiot liberal conspiracy theorists that come out of the woodwork when you ask a question like that. the whole reason bush is in office now is the display of character. the idiot liberal mentality is they have a mandate when less than fifty percent of the registered voters in many states show up to vote and virginia was decided by less than one tenth of one percent.
the reality check is that many people choose not to show up to vote and express their view because when the see a true tragedy case like pelosi and combine that with the liberal biased media, they become hopeless and simply dont vote...
please note, this is not to be confused with miami and dade voters that wouldnt know how to vote if you lead them to the polls and drew it out for them.
