I wasn't going to answer this question because so many people responded but I read the ones being critical and I want you to ignore the ones that say it's a sin and crap like that. It's co-habitation and it is not a sin. It's smart and more power to you!

for diffrent people they call it diffrent things myself i lived with my husband for 2 years before we got married.i needed that time to adjust to sharing my place with a man.it was diffrent for me to have someone stay overnight let alone live with me .i called it shacking up.my grandmother taught me that one.
