My husband and I have been married for one & a half yrs. I have a retroverted uterus, and my husband has a low sperm count. My husband is taking the necessary vitamins, and I also took fertility pills but still to no avail. We think proper "positioning" will help. Could u guys pls advise? Thanks in advance.

Really Bad M? Yup, we've been to the doctor, & she told us the same thing (about the pillow) but it didnt really work. How long does she have to be in a handstand position?

This is no joke. My wife and I had the same problem. After ejaculation, his semen simply runs out. Our doctor told us to put a pillow under my wife's rear, to help keep the semen farther up in her uterus. We tried that for about 3 months. I swear on my life, the way she got pregnant was immediately after climax for me she did a handstand in the corner of the bedroom while I helped hold her up. Within two months, she was pregnant. I now have two handsome boys. I am not joking. I even told the doctor.

I'm assuming you know when YOU are ovulating, and not just going by ovulation calculators on web-sites. If you are having sex during ovulation and you're pretty sure it's a position issue, then I would suggest having sex on all fours (doggie-style). This will allow your husband to deeply penetrate you when he ejaculates. Right after he does, he can lift your legs up in the air to help with the gravity. If he can hold you for about 10 minutes, I would think that would be good enough. However, I would have him lower you slowly and then put a pillow under your butt to keep the sperm in there longer. I have a tilted uterus as well. My OB said it doesn't effect conception, but she checked my cervix and suggested this position for me. Best of luck to you.

Your husband should drink two cups of really strong coffee about 15 minutes before trying so the sperm are active and eager and try the "doggy-style" position (sorry that I don't know the proper term) and then use the pillow under the hips so the semen stays in. I know that's a bit graphic, but it worked for me. Good luck!

It would be very difficult to have a baby in your situation. But as the saying goes, try and try until you succeed. So your husband has low sperm counts. That's enough. The only thing you both have to worry about is chance. There will come a time when you will have a baby in your womb.

Michelle, you are aware that to get pregnant you must have sex on a day that your eggs are being released. So you must get your ovulation date fixed first.

After the 3rd day from the day that menses started put a thermometer into your mouth and check your body temperature every morning before you start turning in bed. The best time is at about 4 a.m. Maintain a chart. You will find that on one day the body temperature drops from 1/2 degree to one degree. This is the day that your eggs are being released. If you want to get pregnant this is the day that you must have sex. Tell your husband to ejaculate on his inward thrust so that the sperms will shoot deep inside.

Like the advice of your doctor, after having sex you must stay in bed for about 30 mins with your knees bent up with a pillow under your buttocks so that the sperms will not pour out - to enable them to travel up.

Get your husband to save his sperms in the testacles for at least 3 days before sex to enable them to mature well to do their job.
