No I am not sad. I voted for Republicans at the national level but I am an independent. I did this because I did not see any positive message from Democrats. Instead the message was were not Republicans. I do not put my faith in government. Governments are made of politicians and they are corrupt as a lot. I choose instead to place my faith in people. I find that the American people usually make the right choices whether they understand why or not. I believe in America and life will go on today much as it yesterday and the day before. Do not be sad. Be proud because we are Americans, we can disagree, but in the end we stand together when necessary. The people have spoken and democracy has been carried out successfully again.

Are you kidding? I was so happy that I was singing and dancing. The transfer of majority of congress to the democrats was primarily America's way of showing our disapproval of his presidency. The people have spoken, like it or not Mr. Bush, this is still America where we have the freedom to usher in change.
