I always have cramps when I ovulate and everyone thinks I'm crazy. I always know when I'm ovulating because of the cramps. My daughter was conceived on our first try. My doctor said it's normal that I get cramps but it is rare because most people don't feel them. I am very in-tuned with my body as you obviously are too. Good luck!

It may be, I went to the doctor last month over the same thing, I went off the pill and i keep having these bad pains so I went to the doctor and she said that I was ovulating and that is why I hurt. You ovulate I think 12-14 days after the first day of your last period. Look on the internet for free ovulation charts. They will tell you the dates you are ovulating.

Cramps tend to come hand in hand with a menstrual cycle. There is a train of thought that says you may recieve a slight pain on the right or left depending on which ovary has released an egg. There is also a train of thought that says every woman is different.
What do you think it is, your expereince of your cycles of your ovulation are unique to you, only you can truly know if it is a normal good pain or apain that deserves Dr attention. :)

I had the same thing it lasted about 3 days as I have had my appendix out, I knew it wasn't that. At my late post birth 6 week check up I had a pap smear and requested an ultrasound to check out my ovaries, It turned out to be nothing but it did give me peace of mind, you could ask for this too. All the best by the way the pain has stopped after my 3rd cycle, so maybe it was just all my bits moving back into place.

U should have that looked at. It could b a cyst or something more serious. Ovulating shouldn't cramp like that in just one side it should b spread out in ur lower abdomen. All though it is possible it's mostly unlikely. Good luck.
