why did my friend say this?

i had 2 difrent friends say i was babied by my parents but thay don't call me little baby names or do my chores

i gotta do everything myself and junk

then how am i being "babied"?

Because your parents are protecting you and that is wonderful and they care about what you do and who you are with. This is concern, they care. Maybe your friends' parents aren't this way with them so they figure you are being babied. Don't let it bother you, enjoy it while your parents are still alive for you to enjoy.

Prehaps your friends are just jelous they can see that your parents are there for you and theirs arent, if you do everything yourself then there is no reason for them to say you are babied, do you have a partime job where you earn pocket money or do you ask you parents and they just give you money? that could be a reason that they feel they have to work for money and just get it, dont let it worry you to much, i can see that it really upsets you.

I guess ur parents must be involved in ur personal life more than their parents and therefore they are calling you like that.

i depends if they see you with your parents then it might be that your parents are protective of you when your freinds are around and therefore your freinds may get this impression. but your freinds may just be joking dont analyse what they say
