It has to be Elton John, Cliff Pilchard or Rod Stewart - any 'artist' who regurgitates the same old cr-p year in, year out with the same tunes and slightly different words to cynically exploit all people everywhere just because their fresh flower fund has slipped below the £10 million mark or their latest squeeze has come to their senses and walked out with half their fortune.

I mean, what was that song Elton scribbled on the back of a cigarette packet when Diana died? He rehashed a song about an admittedly very beautiful but fallen film star and added a couple of words, which incidentally made the lyrics too long for the music, and then put that out as a tribute. Pleeese.

Why does Cliff release a record the week before Christmas every year? Because he thinks it will go straight to number one and he can dine off that for the next year until the following Christmas.

Why does Rod Stewart have to release albums covering others' songs or re-hashing his own songs? A friend of mine flew all the way to Madison Square Gardens in New York to see him a few years ago. He came on stage for about 40 minutes, sang a few frankly cr-p songs as if he really didn't give a t-ss and then left the stage. She paid something close to £1000.00 for that?

Put them on an island altogether and let them sing each other to death.

I feel a lot better now.

Ooo, tough question, because it's all a matter of taste. I'll just list artists/bands I don't like:
Most country, especially stuff like Billy Ray Cyrus (I'm surprised no one mentioned him!)
All boy bands.
All girl bands.
Most male and female pop artists.
Joan Osborne, seriously, her album is horrid!
Most 80s hair bands.
Pussycat Dolls, they're gorgeous (especially the redhead), but SO ANNOYING!
New Metallica, anything after the Black Album, minus S&M. I thought that was cool.
KISS annoys me, except for a couple of songs.
Celine Dion.

That's all I can think of right now.

Let's get the obvious ones out of the way first, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Maria Carey, Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears (they all sound as though they've trampolines in their larynx)
Next, pretty much all manufactured 'pop' bands. Asinine, bland, formulaic crap...although there's the odd song even i find myself whistling to every now and again-I'm only human.
Wannabe gangsta rappers (not including public enemy, snoop, Dr Dre). Can you stop 'singing' about your big guns/cars/Diamonds/yachts /beeeatches/ pay cheques / killing people/ cribs/ mutha fukas /etc etc etc etc....it's getting tiresome now.
Controversial now, Elvis Presley and the Beatles, OK, there's a number of good songs here but please....life goes on.
The worst band of all time is 'the lighthouse family'
The worst artist of all time is Craaaaaaaig Daaaaaavid, although there are lots of contenders for both posts. (it'll be different tomorrow)
Oh, i almost forgot, All 'jazz' music is utter rubbish.

Because of what they should have been, The Seahorses.

Anyone who was the writer and leading light of the Stone Roses should have ruled the world. Not John Squires, he went to oblivion with the Seahorses.

I am very very disappointed with this question. So sorry but that's what i feel.
In my opinion there is No worst artist or band in this world, what is the term that we can use to make an artist or a band to be a worst band ???? the bad sales of their recording, the songs that we never respect of, the albums that never hit top 100 or what ???
In this world there is NO any worst artist or band. That's the skill and talent and also the music that they want to produce and one more thing that album can make them Happy and proud. Ok
So very sorry if my words quiet not nice.
