Successful. It is said that the beetles were rejected by Decca and the Monopoly game was initially written off by Parker Brothers. What other myopic rejections have gone on to achieve spectacular success?.......

Tons and tons of people. Off the top of my head, a few come to mind.

JK Rowling was rejected over a dozen times in trying to find a publisher for Harry Potter.

The author of Jonathan Livingstone Seagull, Richard Bach, was rejected 17 times before he found a publisher.

The Author John Kennedy Toole was rejected dozens of time trying to find a publisher for his book "A Confederacy of Dunces." He became so disillusioned he committed suicide over it. Later his mother kept up the struggle to find a publisher for his work, eventually succeeded -- and the book went on to be an international Best-Seller which won the Pulitzer Prize.

Trust me -- the world is full of "dunces" who reject what they don't understand. You have believe in yourself, because history teaches us that nobody else will.

Cheers.

I've been rejected. Rejected over two dozen times, and become...a failure. Check out some of the rejections here:

Vincent Van Goch was rejected at his life time, but became famous and appreciated after his death. Albert Einstein was considered an unsuccessful person when during his childhood, and so was Winston Churchill, the ally-dumper PM of Britain during WW2.
