i was thinking about piercing my eyebrows, but i seem to have heard something about what it meant if it was the left or the right. cant remember...anybody know what it means??

Its personal preference. It really don't signify anything other than you wanted it on one side and not the other.
Before, there was a phrase that went along with EAR lobe piercings on men that said "left is right and right is wrong" but that idea and mentality is very outdated. Do what makes you happy, you'll be fine.

As piercings have become much more prevalent within popular culture, the significance of which side a piercing is on has faded. There is absolutely no significance to right or left and it is completely up to you.
And ignore those morons above who've said that piercings are stupid. They've been reported for harassment, since they have nothing constructive to add :)

Riveria, you need to rise above that. Get your eyebrow pierced on whatever side you want and who cares if some dork is trying to work his gaydar. the left right thing is over

The left side means your trying to look unique by doing something that everyone else does.
The right side means you don't have enough personality to be intresting so you feel the need to do something dumb to get attention.

Statistically speaking, the left side is the one usually facing the tattooist after you have passed out from the drinking binge.

I had no idea it meant anything. It certainly doesn't mean anything to me. Its your body so you should do what you want.
