it sounds like you may be infected with adware and spyware, to get rid of them use ad-aware www.lavasoft.de and spybot search & destroy www.spybot.info
with spybot you will want to definately take advantage of the "immunize" feature, which blocks over 12,000 threatening sights, but don't forget to update it as soon as it's installed, both of them. then run a full scan on each one and they will remove any active threats on your pc, and with the immunize feature in spybot it will prevent you from getting a lot of future infections.

It's worth getting an expert to check your computer out at:

http://www.webuser.co.uk/forums/ubbthreads.php/Cat/0

Register, go to the Hijack This Forum, read the instructions on how to post a log, give a brief description of your problem (like you've just typed) and post your log there. The guys in there are fantastic and trustworthy and will guide you through in getting rid of anything nasty from your computer.

You must post a HijackThis log as per the instructions, not just your problem.

You can manually block a site by placing the website on HOSTS file on "C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc" with the following:

127.0.0.1 www.site2block.com

Alternatively, I provided two sites which can block sites.
