I strongly suspect that's because you don't have a job to go to in the morning. Get one and you will sleep like an angel!

I'm asking that same question. Unfortunately, it's because I have to be---Working, well, actually taking a much needed break from my psych patients, who for some reason, don't want to sleep either. One of them is standing at the nurses station staring at me. A few years ago that would have freaked me out, but now, I just say, "Hi, want an Ambien or a Xanax?"

Maybe you have insomnia... or maybe you need to clear your mind of all the goings-on around you.
I'd try drinking warm milk or a tea with valerian root. I used to use baby bath that had lavender in it and take a long bath, listen to jazz music, and read a really boring book on some topic I knew I was never going to need in a daily basis. Bored me to death and I closed my eyes and hopped out of the tub and went to bed. Might help.

Depends. You need to take it easy, rest, clear your head, have a nice environment to sleep, etc. etc. But you have to sleep sometime no matter what the conditions you can't stay awake forever.
