As a consumer, it is very obvious that many fast food restaurants have been doing the accounting wrong and double charging customers.

From a single consumer standpoint, it's overlooked, but I"m sure they are making huge profits from it, and it happens on a daily basis.

How do you stop it from happening? Class action lawsuit?

First you have to be able to prove it. (virtually impossible).....and get that idea of Class Action Lawsuit clean out of your head. You're starting to sound American.
Then the best way to stop it from happening to you is stay away from fast food.

Got dinged twice for the same "Happy Meal", huh?
Didn't notice it was costing you 35 bucks?.....yeah......Class Action sounds about right to me.

Maybe you want to team up with ol' Tony....seems it's been happenin' to him too.

A lot of fast food places rob the public. They'll charge over and then pocket the extra cash.
