I think clean, well manicured real fingernails look much nicer, especially if buffed & oiled. Toe nails on the other hand..........

Nail polish on toe nails make it seem like I'm trying to hide mould or toe jam on my nails. So, I prefer to keep it natural and clean. Clear nail polish is classy, but since I scrub my toe nails at every bath, the polish chips off. So, I tend to keep it all bare. But, one girl actually thought I had polished my toe nails a beige colour, even though I hadn't cared less about it. She said she liked the colour of my nails, but I liked hers, too. They were a pretty shade of pink and well-manicured. But, for me, it's easier to maintain nothing!

Because they are one of my few good traits (fingernails). I am blessed to have very healthy and strong nails, so they grow to a nice length and shape. Plus, for me, the polish gets chipped within minutes.
However, I do keep my toenails looking nice with bright or unusual colors because I am barefoot most of the time.

I think it's sexier when women have the finger and toe nails painted.

i stopped painting my finger nails because they seemed to weaken and break off more ...now my nails are all 1/2 inch long or more..and tough as nails...they hardly even bend
i still paint my toes.... :o)

i don't paint my nails because it makes them brittle and break. if you want to make your nails look good without painting them just get an Emery board and buffer. gives the manicured look with less cost.

for me, i have better things to do than to spend my time painting my nails when there is no logical reason why i should. but i don't bite my nails either. if i did, i say just trim the nails, so i can't.

The polish does not last long before it needs to be touched up. And waiting for it to dry takes too much patience!
