For now, it's 360 only, but the nice thing is that the 360 will play Halo 1 and Halo 2 if you have an internet connection/ harddrive.

Later it will probably come-out on PC, but it definately won't be usable on the first Xbox.

At the end of next year there's also been announced that a "Halo movie game" by Peter Jackson is coming out too. Supposedly it's part of a new Halo series based on the movie, but there's been no official word on what platform it'll be on. It's probably safe to assume that it'll be for the 360 too. You could search for details on this from bungie's site ( http://www.bungie.net )

There's also "Halo wars" which is expected next year too, and that one is definately a 360 exclusive. Thats an RTS (Real time Strategy Game) though. ( http://www.halowars.com )

It's a good time to get a 360 and maybe even keep the old xbox for doing LAN parties.. The 360 and old xbox are network compatible, which means you could hook them both up to a network hub, and as long as both systems are playing Halo 2, they can go 2-player head-to-head without using a splitscreen, or go ahead and use splitscreens to get up to 8 people playing on two tvs.

I sure wish I had my old xbox still so I could do that in the house instead of sharing the tv with my girlfriend all the time.. she needs multiplayer practice but we dont have XBOX LIVE currently. She needs to practice for the monthly Halo 2 parties we have at my friend's shop.

Anyways.. hope some of this has swayed you to the 360 side... you KNOW you wanna.. :)

I bet if you trade in your xbox with all your controllers plus any games you don't want you can get an xbox 360 for pretty cheap (I'm referring to trading in at gamestop/eb games) That way you can play all three. If you save up you can get 4 controllers too. :-)
