FEAR OF THE BLACK MAN. HE MAY BE TOO NICE TO AFRICA AND THEY MIGHT START GETTING LONG NEEDED MEDICINE AT A CHEAP PRICE AND PEOPLE WOULD STOP DYING BY THE 10'S OF THOUSANDS BY DAYS BUT THEN OUR SPOILED ASSES WOULD HAVE TO CONTRIBUTE MORE AND CUT BACK ON OUR SLOTH A LITTLE AND HELP. PHARMACY COMPANIES WOULD GET PISSED AND NOT GIVE THEIR CORPORATE KICKBACKS IN EXCHANGE FOR TAX BREAKS.

HOW ABOUT A MEXICAN?
OH, FAR BE IT HE MAY BE NICE TO MEXICO AND THEY MIGHT MAKE SOME MONEY AND THEIR LIVING CONDITIONS WOULD IMPROVE FROM BEING NEXT TO "THE SO-CALLED "GREATEST COUNTRY" AND WORST NEIGHBOR, THEN THEY WONT NEED TO COME OVER HERE ANYMORE AND SOME WOULD HAVE NOTHING TO BIT*H ABOUT ANYMORE. CANT HAVE IT!!!

WE HAD CLINTON AND THAT WAS CLOSE.

I think that Barack Obama, Colin powell or Dr. Rice would make good presidents. I would like to know more about their politics.

There has been a lot of progress made in the last 50 or so years. What happened was bad, but focus on the future and making a difference. Don't ask why, ask when. This is American and although, PEOPLE are not always going to be fair and trustworthy, you have a great chance of making the things that once seemed impossible happen.

Learn from history, remember the good and bad so that you are in the best position to make your own history. Our country as a whole need to stop being bitter and become better. Knowledge is power.

I know that it must be frustrating not to have a black president yet, but look at this link below and be proud of the people who are working hard to someday make it happen in the near future:

Because the only black person to run so far is Jessie Jackson, and he's so liberal he's managed to piss off most of the United States. Nobody would vote for him.

General Colin Powell has said on numerious occasions that he has REFUSED to run for the Presidency.

Condi Rice,,,might actually make a good Presidental candidate for 2008

Because no one yet has convinced Morgan Freeman to run for the office. I'd vote for that man in a heartbeat. :)

Yes, I'm totally serious about that, but on a broader note, we have not had a president who is non-white and/or non-male because change takes time, and in particular, because there's still a lot of "good old boy" and "perception game" going in the presidental election process. It's one of the biggest glass ceilings we have yet to break in the U.S. I'll be glad when we do... but I also hope whoever it is is a *good* president. Gods know we could use one. *roll eyes*

Didn't Massachusetts just elect the first Black Governor. Look at how long it's taken to get into a governor position. One step at a time.

As someone else just said whites are still adjusting to the fact we arent slaves. Racism, descriminitaion & hate are passed down through the generations. I say it'll probably be at least 1,000 more years before America LETS a black person be president. I see Hispanic or some other foreign born border-jumper getting it first; as evidenced by the outsourcing of jobs.

No Black Politician is as aggressive as the whites. There should be one who must emulate the total politician in order to be a President.
