The points are useless. It's not even a bragging right in my eyes. At first I cared about points to up my limits, but after level 3 there is no way I even meet the limits.

I see what your saying, I suppose with all things the novelty wears off, Right now I'm new to this and I'm still on level 1, so at the moment I'm eager to earn more points...I'm enjoying answering questions to see if my advise comes up tops...
I Haven't been chosen as best anwer yet so thats making me more determined to get chosen as best answer. Maybe when I get to your level (if I ever get there) then the points wont matter anymore, but right now I'm loving it!

Ya I feel exactly the same way. As soon as I got to level 3 I stopped caring about points and it was just fun to answer and ask!

I think it's fun to collect those points. Well, maybe it's useless, but with answering the questions beside you got the points, you can help people or share your knowledge or hobbies...

I don't care about the points.It is a form of escapism for me.My man is at work,my kids are at school.Im alone,I have no other family.

i wish the points could be trade it to something useful rather than a stupid Yahoo! Answer wall paper. i prefer US$, though.
